1. PFM sensors for diesel engines, also known as air flow and pressure temperature sensors, are mainly used to detect the fresh air flow (excluding EGR) located downstream of the charge air cooler in the air duct of CV diesel engines
2. The PFM sensor is equipped with a pressure sensor, a differential pressure sensor, and a temperature sensor, which respectively measure the static pressure, differential pressure (total pressure static pressure in the air duct), and temperature of the flowing air in the air duct. They are transmitted to the ECU through SENT signals for calculation and determination of the fresh air flow rate in the air duct
3. PFM sensors can also be applied to CNG engines.
